Cheap-ish (Biblical) Hebrew and Greek credit
#1
I know some students have previously looked for Ancient Greek or Biblical Hebrew credit. Well, here's a new option:

Looks like the app is $24/mo, and you might need it for 15weeks/4 months to get 3cr - so the cost would be $96 + $399 to transcript it. Kind of pricy compared to what we normally see here. You might be able to find a college course for that price ($495 for a 3cr course).

I can't find much online options in Spanish. The UNAM might offer courses, they certainly teach this language in their main CU campus and website hints the teacher could offer online options. I wouldn't know the costs of the course for external students.

Found a university in Spain that offers different levels of Hebrew for around 490 USD and intensive summer classes for 410 USD.

So, is this like the TEL Learning or Outlier.org where you complete the credit on their learning platform and have the credit transcribed at the partnership institution... I guess that's how it's currently setup. Technically, this should be RA credit then, if the student is familiar with their local community colleges and want a cheaper option, I would still see if the community college would offer a course online.

For Biblical languages, it is kind of difficult to find classes for less than $1k. I've looked before! $500 isn't super cheap in general, but it can be okay for some non-standard classes.

There are only 5 that I really look at besides Saylor.org/Study.com that have NCCRS credit recommendation.
NCCRS Directory link: https://www.nationalccrs.org/course-credit-directory
Then there are companies in the list that have Hebrew, Religion, and other courses I think, haven't gone through them though.
