I'm cheap that way. While I like SL the entire Biology course incl kit is $202 and $213 for Chemistry. Curious if there are other options? Thanks

There is a Nutrition lab from Rio Salado that basically involves keeping a food diary for a few days. Search the forum, there have been some recent threads about it.
Also, you could take SL Nutrition for the non-lab portion of the course.

I will check it out, thank you. To clarify, I can still take Biology with SL but a none related lab such as the aforementioned Nutrition Lab?

Well, no, but you already have the Intro to Nutrition course from SL completed in your signature. SL Nutrition + Rio Salado lab is the 4-hour lab science you need. Biology without lab will be the 3-hour non-lab science.

I didn't buy the SL chem lab kit, and I passed. Ebay and the craft section at Wal-Mart is your friend

Davar Academy (formerly Torah) does not have any science labs, but you're probably thinking of Coopersmith, which were partners with Tor at one time. They have a handful or 4cr w/ lab courses.
That whole Torah/Tor/Davar/Coopersmith ordeal is a pretty weird/confusing scenario.
