College Algebra credit for TESC - Best non-Test-only way to obtain?
#9
Chessman Wrote:I don't think it's that simple...technically you have to reach a percentage of 70% on your progress bar according to Aleks's customer service rep. A student can not just score 70% or higher on test and just get credit merely for that. It is the progress bar that needs a minimum of 70% not the test score.

#But I hope your right, bc this would much easier.

Getting a 70% or higher on an assessment bumps the progress bar to 70% or higher because you've demonstrated that you know that much of the material. On the other hand, working up to at least 70% on the progress bar will not work. You have to assess at 70%. I forgot which color is which, but one color indicates that you've done a certain percentage of problems. That will not get you credit. You have to prove you know the material by testing above 70%.

I've already done this for Intermediate Algebra and I'm doing it now for College Algebra. My initial assessment was at 68% and that is where my progress bar is at. I can't just work off the extra 2%. I have to assess again at or above 70%.
