I've taken this course in the last year, but I will preface this with the advice I've seen across numerous threads on here - the difficulty and speed of courses can only be determined by the individual. I have a background in IT and had taken Java programming prior to this course, so take that into account.
When I took the course, some of the chapters were extremely intuitive and easy to grasp concepts. There were a few sections that were a bit more challenging, but my experience was that it was only a little harder than I thought it would be. I found it easy enough to be done within a week while working on the course part-time. The assignment however I found to be very ambiguous about what they're asking to be done. Some of the SDC projects have wording that could be clearer or omit some fairly important details where you have to make assumptions. Here's the post I made about the confusion on the project. Thanks to those that replied or had earlier posts I ended up getting it sorted. I hope this helps.
