I am trying to work through the craziness of transferring all my credits that were on ACE registry from the past couple years.  There a few that I completed, but can't remember the companies.  They were the free options that used to be available.

TEEX - old version
The Institutes
Fire Classes

Any ideas??

I don't think it is possible to get all those credits. At least that is was my understanding from another thread.

TEEX, you're probably better off redoing them as soon as they've finished porting their system over to the new one. You'll get more credits (10 vs. I think it was 6) by doing so. I suspect that there's no way to just reclaim the old ones, even once TEEX has finished with their update.

The Institutes: Sorry, but these credits are gone for good. The Institutes apparently has no interest in assisting students who are NOT insurance underwriters.

Fire classes? You mean FEMA credits? I don't think anyone has pursued these since FEMA credits aren't really accepted at the Big 3 these days. It's possible that you'll be able to reclaim them but you'd have to contact FEMA about this.

Excelsior still accepts SOME FEMA credits. However, you have to pay tuition on them at EC so it's probably not worth the work.

True. They are accepted at Excelsior. But not really-really. It's complicated and weird. Worth it if you need those specific credits for some reason but, otherwise, there's a reason why nobody's bothered to chase down their FEMA credits (so far as I'm aware of).

The fire classes he's referring to are a couple of firefighter management courses that used to give 2 credits each. They were free and used to be available here: https://nfa.plateau.com/learning/user/login.do

They are in my signature under "NFA". Anyway they were ported over to the FEMA network in 2019 and re-worked and I believe are no longer available online and now have to be completed in person. You can see the new versions here: https://www.usfa.fema.gov/training/nfa/c..._6_10.html

I assume the old versions are gone for good but who knows.

Yes, I was referring to the NFA class that I completed prior to 2018 when they were worth credit.

TEEX sent an email that said in the next few weeks the badges will be available. I may try to do the new TEEX versions, but if I remember right - these were my least favorite courses.

None of the FEMA credits transfer?

None of the FEMA credits transfer to TESU or COSC, no. You can transfer them to Excelsior but the cost is around $90 per credit via transferring them through Frederick Community College.

Excelsior does not accept all of the FEMA classes either. They're REALLY weird about them. I have some and it wasn't worth the work that Excelsior required or the fees.
