Took this today and passed with 442 using the links on the Reddit post, studied for maybe 3-4 hrs max. Those Reddit links are right on the money; I also studied this quizlet and read through the entire Academic Writing section of Purdue Writing Owl.
About 20 out of the 64 questions are asked about analyzing essays given in the question, so it's important to be able to analyze argumentative/informative/etc essays and be able to tell what's right/wrong with them structurally, organizationally, logically, and so forth. This link breaks down argumentative essays in a great way --> https://www.everettsd.org/cms/lib/WA0192...%20arg.pdf I suggest studying up on analyzing the structural and organizational aspect of essays because I guessed on about 20-25 questions, but luckily only got ~8 incorrect. Feel free to DM me if you're going to take this exam.

DD did not find the PassYourClass book to be comprehensive. She will be using the DSST Promo for a free retake. She though she saw something on the exam about 'Rottenburg Method' and 'Truman Model', but didn't know what these things are. Does anybody know where I could find information on this?

Rottenburg is the name I couldn't remember that stumped me too. It was referencing Rottenburg's method of argumentation, looks like the only thing Google can find about that is in the book recommended in the PDF test description, Elements of Argument. I'm guessing much of the exam is based on that book. If you check the dsst site(I'm assuming you had to in order to sign up for the test?), they give you information for the test....
