Has anyone recently taken the Human Resource Mgt test? If so how close and accurate is the information in IC; is there additional study guides needed or is the information accurate enough to pass during the first turn around?
Any assistance concerning this topic is much appreciated...

IC members have access to the Specific Exam Feedback forum - search for the thread on the HRM exam for study suggestions and post-test reactions.
IC alone is enough to pass, but additional study is necessary to get a really high score. Any introductory HR textbook will do - the official Dantes fact sheet for the exam lists several options. There's also "The complete idiot's guide to human resource management", which is readily available at libraries.

I decided to take Org Behavior and the Human Resource Management cold after I studied for the CLEP Principles of Management and the DSST Principles of Supervision. I got high scores on each. As always, you can never have enough study material but I'd say if you are confident in what you learned with IC, then you will do fine, it's a relatively easy exam with a lot of common sense questions.

In the past 2 months I've taken Princ. of Mang. 62/50 CLEP, Princ. of Supervision DSST 59/46, and HRM, which I am awaiting the test results but I have no doubt that I received a passing score, likely in the mid 50's. It was not too hard, but it was alot of "undefined" questions...not technical and solid, but softer situational/circumstantial questions. Fortunatly, at least one and usually 2 could be eliminated as wrong with a little bit of thought. It was maybe a little tougher than Princ. of Sup. Not a big deal test though, IMOH.

and yes, mainly IC. I did check out library books on the topic but found them wordy and too much fluff. IC has the nuts and bolts.
