DSST Principles of Public Speakng Not offered at most exam centers

Just a heads up, I confirmed my exam at the Gardena University of aphoenix exam center and the Advisor that set up the exam "verified" that they supported the exam. I took off work and when I got there the proctor had no idea of how to administer it as it was "not ilisted on the screen".

I am still trying to locate an exam center and was furious that they did not have their act together to know whether or not they administered this test.

Just a heads up to those that were looking to take the test, be sure to call and ask for a manager to verify the center is equipped to administer the test.

If this test center did not go through the training last summer, they not be aware of how to access the principles of public speaking. I was under the impression that all DSST centers who administer the exams via computer are now set up to do this. I would always verify whether the test center delivers the speech exam via computer or paper/pencil with audio recording. We have had no problems at our test center...

Which center are you at? I am still getting the run around on the folks at UofP Gardena trying to figure out if they can or can't administer the test and the other ones are much farther away and are yet to get back to me to confirm.

If you want to take a drive, I am in Santa Ana, CA -- California Coast University. Openings every day, Monday through Friday beginning at 8:30 and end all testing at 4:00.
