I'm taking Public Speaking on Friday and I'm really not sure about the speech topic... Is is gonna be a big one like the mosque at ground zero or abortion or illegal immigrants??? So yeah, just wondering what to expect.

At least in my case, the subject was not too controversial. Enough to have an opinion but not overly emotional to the average person.
Good luck!

Thanks, I figured that.
Ugh, I feel like complaining...

So this morning I took Peterson's 1st test and got a 56% on the written part. For the speech I had not idea what to say but somehow I rambled on the topic for almost 4 minutes! (I was very proud b/c out of the 6 practice speech's I've done, none passed 2:30) So this evening I took the 2nd test, got a 71%, but...I just couldn't do the speech part. I sat there for 9 minutes trying to decide if I was for or against requiring pet owners to neuter their pets... It was a topic I could easily talk about but I just couldn't think of anything. I'd finally pick a side and then I think and think for a reason why, then I'd think of a better reason for the other side, so I switched and then couldn't think of any other points... But I went ahead and started saying the speech and hoping something would come to me while I was talking. My 51 second speech was basically "It should be required...I guess." I am terrified that that will happen for real on Friday. No matter how many times I tell myself "You will pass, have fun" I still can't do it. So, I'm done now. :p Anyone want to cheer me up?
