TESU TECEP Late Fee

I need to register for a TESU for the January 2020 term and have not done so yet. Does the late registration fee still apply to TECEPs? and if so how much is it?

TECEP’s are not charged a late registration fee. Response I received in October said:

“Thank you for contacting the Enrolled Student Solutions Center.  TECEP exams are exempt from a late registration fee.

Hmm, that must be a new policy. I was charged $150 for late registration on the last TECEP I tried to take. Granted, that was around September/October 2018. I eventually got it refunded, but it was more effort than it was probably worth in terms of wasted time spent on emails and phone calls.

I never saw the purpose in the late fee other than to extract more money from students. So if they have dropped that requirement, that is a great change.
