Transfer Credit Information | University of Oregon | Office of Admissions
Looks like they accept unlimited credits.
We don't.
How? They could nominally "accept" unlimited transfer credits, but nonetheless also have, described separately, a University of Oregon residency (residence) requirement, that a certain amount of credit must be earned from the University of Oregon.
Which is exactly what they list
here. See the row "UO Residence Requirement." 45 quarter hours of their bachelor's degrees (which are a total of 180 qh or more) must be completed in residence at UO. What's more these are, for a BA or BS for example, "45 after 120." After your first 120 quarter hours counted from all sources, you need at least 45 quarter hours from UO, even if some or all of those first 120 qh are from UO.

It's an easy mistake to make, we often think in terms of how much credit the Big 3 will allow when, in fact, what really makes them unique is their very limited residency. Most schools are not willing to put their stamp of approval on a degree recipient unless they had a hand in delivering that education. It actually makes sense, though I'm really glad the Big 3 don't quite see it that way.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Videogamesrock,
You'll find that many posters here could work as college guidance counselors/advisors in their spare time. They can figure out the ins and outs of college catelogs and policy better than most couselors. I can't do it, but I appreciate those that can.
