TESU Flat Rate Masters - $18k (MBA - $24k)
#1
I was browsing around the TESU website and I noticed that a new graduate flat rate pricing tier FOR NEW STUDENTS was introduced on 3/25/25, starting this May 2025 semester.

https://www.tesu.edu/about/newsroom/2025...ograms.php

All masters degrees at TESU (excluding the MBA and Master's in Psych Mental Health NP) are going to cost $18,000 flat rate (downside is that it appears you'd have to pay for the tuition all at once or over 9 months)

https://www.tesu.edu/tuition-financial-a...t-rate.php

For example, the MA Liberal Studies  degree would cost $18000 for all 36 credits or $500 per credit.

The MBA looks like its also going flat rate at $24k at 39 credits or $616 per credit

Still relatively expensive compared to options you can find using the GetEducated tool

But I thought it was a step in the right direction to make getting online graduate degrees easier for most people, similar to when TESU went flat rate (9-15 credits) for its undergrad programs (currently $4429 for OOS)

Interesting, when they say new to TESU or new to the Masters level at TESU? I wonder how that would work for those doing the Bachelors to Masters option. Anyways, I think this is geared towards those using tuition assistance or reimbursement, as they can get $5750/year, it'll only cost $750+ additional fees to get a Masters from TESU in 3 years...

Note: Students that are/were previously enrolled in graduate courses are ineligible for this program on the basis that the university will not be adjusting any previous credits and payments.

Sounds like they mean "anybody who hasn't taken any graduate courses at TESU"

Ah well, that's a hinderance for those who want to go into the program... If they allow people to transfer in credit into the program, those would also be affected I think. I wonder if they would allow people to do two degrees with just one flat rate of $18K if you resourcefully and strategically transfer the max classes in both degrees...
