I couldn't find much information about the Nobel University DBA on its website, just this: https://www.nobeluniversity.edu/academic...scription/

The tuition page does not list tuition for the DBA program, just the MBA. Assuming the costs are the same or higher, that would put this nationally credited DBA at $30,000. Are we considering that cheap? Or is this program quick instead?

Isn't ASIC international accreditation (as opposed to schools they credit in the US) more of a quality assurance thing than what we would consider academic accreditation in the United States? E.g., another ASIC-internationall-accredited organization, Effective, says that its degrees/diplomas/certificates/whatever-you-want-to-call-them are not academic degrees but are for professional training and continuing education.

Interestingly, I believe that EDU Effective is run by the same people that LIGS is. I think in that case, though, they're saying that their programs are non-academic not because of their relationship with ASIC but because of the level of recognition EDU Effective has in Czechia, where it's based.

According to the current CapTech catalog, the transfer credit limit for all but two doctoral programs is 30 credits. For the DSc in Cybersecurity and PhD in Business Analytics and Data Science, it's 27 credits. You can transfer credits from conferred degrees.

For the PhD in CS program, CapTechU only approved 18 transfer credits from my DSc in IT, which was disappointing. Nothing was transferred from any of my Master's degrees. For the dissertation, there are six courses (36 credits) that I don't see any way they would allow you to transfer unless you were ABD or worked something out. I've been told that even if I wanted to "accelerate" faster than six terms to complete the program, you are required to enroll in these credits regardless of pace (i.e., pay the tuition). So the only avenue to cheaper tuition is through the various discounts (military, EdAssist, etc.).

After learning about the online option for DSU's PhD in CS program, I am going to apply to that and see if they will bring anything extra in beyond the Master's. I took two graduate courses there as a non-degree seeking student a few years ago, so curious how that will stack up as well.
