Does spain/EU accept UMPI degree?

And the beauty of having a US degree such as an example of laddering the Pierpont BOG AAS, UMPI BAS, UMPI MAOL, you'll be well equipped to get into any non competitive program, and if you needed to get into a semi-competitive program, you'll have the GPA from the UMPI degrees at both the undergrad and graduate levels to show for it... Another example is, if someone from Africa would want to go to some Uni in South Africa, you can do a Doctorate level degree at UNISA for an affordable doctorate to top it off. The same for other nations within the continents of in Asia, Australia, Europe, etc...

You can ask all you want, the answers going to be the same... any number below or over 90+ can transfer, only 90 can go into the degree, the rest goes under the line in 'other'. 30 must be done at UMPI for residency, you can obviously take more if you wanted though.

That you can't enter a Peruvian graduate program with an American undergrad degree? That you can't get a government job with an American degree? Is the Peruvian government's standpoint that a degree from Harvard, Stanford or Princeton isn't acceptable? Strange if true.

very late but from novemeber to about some months ago no, the usa was removed from the peruvian agreements to recognize all (from acreddited instutions) now the only ones they would accept was the top 800 so say you went to an american uni that was in 1000 in rankings your degree had no validity in peru, the goverment luckly for me wised up and removed that

@Solden81, So, in the end, Peru now accepts any US institution as long as it's recognized by the government? No need to be in top 10% globally anymore, correct? That's good, they did wise up, hopefully, they don't make that same mistake again... I mean, as long as the institution is properly recognized, rankings shouldn't matter at all...

Peru recognition of foreign degrees:
https://www.sunedu.gob.pe/procedimiento-...-de-paises

"

QS World University Rankings (QS)
Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU)
Times Higher Education (THE Ranking)
Scimago Institutions Rankings (SIR)

English by google translation: "Sunedu may recognize academic degrees (bachelor's, master's and doctorate), professional titles or specialist titles with university rank, in accordance with the following:

1) Foreign degrees and/or titles issued by higher education institutions that appear among the top 500 positions in the following rankings:

QS World University Rankings (QS)
Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU)
Times Higher Education (THE Ranking)
Scimago Institutions Rankings (SIR)

1)List of universities or higher education institutions that meet the quality criteria established in section 7.1. of article 7 of the Regulations for the recognition of degrees and/or titles granted abroad, approved by Resolution of the Board of Directors No. 099-2020-SUNEDU/CD, for application during the year 2023.

2) Foreign degrees and/or titles issued in countries that have treaties signed with Peru and that include the international obligation to recognize university-level degrees and titles."

You can open the list on the website for both.
USA is on the list of accepted countries right now.

Yes, for a couple of months, most countries were removed from the list of recognized countries by Peru.
Now the United States and all the European Union are back in the list (is the old list).

During those months, it was not even "Top 800", only the "Top 500" according to the different rankings that were accepted, if your university was not from the very reduced list of accepted countries.

Now everything is back to normal. In 12 days I´ll get my UoPeople degree translated, so we´ll try to get the Peruvian SUNEDU´s recognition of a DEAC degree.
