Absolutely 1000% clarify that the state of Texas allows alternative ACE credit courses to be used to complete the *required* classes for their CPA before you go taking a bunch on SDC and Sophia.
Not all of the classes for BA Accounting are state requirements for the CPA, so even if they didn't allow ACE for required ones you could still use ACE for any that aren't required.
Some states don't care long as they're on a college transcript (Ohio), but some do. I don't know where Texas stands on the issue but that is something you need to know first.
