EC status report question

In your experience, how long does it take to get your Status Report and Evaluation Summary at EC after you enroll and how long does it take for it to get updated when you send in new CLEPs and DSSTs? I'm trying to decide which tests to take after next week and I will probably stick with ones I know count for business core if it is going to be a while before I get my Status Report.

Just out of curiosity, how do you usually ask for approval? Do you call and talk to someone or just do it on-line? I didn't know if any perticular method produced easier/quicker results.
