OK, I'm still licking my wounds and swallowing my pride over my failing HRM. However these things happen and the energy (anger) can be used as motivation towards doing better on future tests. Here is my question: I took the ECE HRM on Jul 12th, can I turn around and retake it on Sept 12th (the 60 day mark) or is it 60 days from the failure notification date? I know someone here has "been there, done that" already so the answer is here somewhere. Thanks in advance!

I would check with the education center. The free tests from the military want us to wait 180 days until retest. Unfortunately, you have to pay for any retests. That is how it is for me anyway. Excelsior tests might be different though. Thats my 2 cents.

Yes, you're correct but I was under the impression this was for only DSST & CLEP tests. It seems ECE tests have a more lax retest interval, though the base may not honor that..... I guess I may have to wait two more days for the Ed Center to re-open.

I have the most recent copy of the Excelsior College Examinations Registration Guide, which you can download from their publications page. On page 11, it says you can retake a test 60 days after the first attempt. So you should be fine for September 12th, although since it's $185 bucks, you might want to give them a call at 888-72EXAMS and verify it for your own peace of mind.
