Out of curiosity, sir, why not? I'd think that you'd be delighted to share that sort of thing.

I am happy to be serving in Sandpoint ID under Bishop Maxim. Feel free to contact me directly to discuss my thoughts on all this; I am easy to find!
See, that is a connection I didn't make - in part because Archbishop Vsevolod (Maidansky) did visit Kyiv but is not linked to the city all that closely. What he IS known for is uniting the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in America - so it is even more puzzling how a guy close to him spiritually got himself on the wrong side of the Moscow-Constantinople schism. In fact, seeking out a rather obscure group under Abp. Jean of Dubna, (vicar of Patr. Kirill since 2019) kind of feel like coming out in support of the heretical Russian World doctrine. I mean, they are not in communion with the Church of your dear Archbishop Vsevolod, where you were ordained. Puzzling, if not outright disturbing.

I love talking about religion and politics as much as the next person, but when a thread about a university's accreditation and legitimacy veers into Russian Orthodox Church politics, it seems safe to say that we are getting *way* off topic.

Intra-Orthodox, ROC is one side in it. Fr. Laurent's expertise is interreligious dialogue, making it somewhat interesting. Moscow-Constantinople split, or "the Ukrainian question", is the biggest fault line in Ortho communion. Cleenewerck was ordained by Abp. Vsevolod, a Ukrainian hierarch under See of Constantinople. Then he served for years in the Orthodox Church of America, a group rife with pro-Russian sentiment but technically on speaking terms with both sides. Crossing over to the controversial Russian group in France is a puzzling choice. But, you know, has nothing to do with legitimacy, let alone University legitimacy (ecclesiastically, all those groups are "legitimate").

I didn't say it was uninteresting, I said it was inappropriate to the topic.

Fr. Laurent, does Euclid still offer the distance/online EO MAdegree? Any thoughts to offer an online MA in Oriental Orthodoxy? I have a keen interest and would likely enroll. Currently finishing up a Doctorate in Business Admin at a US RA school. The OO theology MA is just for personal/church knowledge

I'm not Father Laurent, but Euclid has their Eastern Orthodox Theology degree tucked away on its site. It's no longer under the online master's degree offerings but rather listed on a separate page for "limited and restricted availability" degree offerings:
https://www.euclid.int/degreecourses.asp?DegreeIndex=15
As for the Oriental Orthodox theology degrees, the Copts have an MTS offering through their Agora University in the States:

Hello,
I am a current student at Euclid, pursuing a PhD in International Public Health. I can assure you it is a real university with real assignments and real instructors.
I hold a master's degree from an accredited institution in the U.S., and I took some graduate-level online public health courses from a CEPH-accredited program in the U.S. before enrolling at Euclid.
I find the courses comparable in difficulty to those at U.S. institutions. As one would expect, there is a significant amount of writing involved. Corrections or rewrites based on instructor feedback are to be expected.
One thing that has pleasantly surprised me is the accessibility of Euclid professors. They are based in various countries (including the U.S.), but I never have difficulty connecting with them if I have a question or need guidance. The level of interaction with professors is higher than I experienced at the CEPH-accredited U.S. university.
The credential equivalency question is still open for me, but my future career plans do not involve teaching at the university level, so I don't expect it to be an issue for me.
In the meantime, I am enjoying the classes, and they are very affordable compared to U.S. tuition. Euclid is not the right choice for everyone, but I am glad to be a student there.
