I was in the middle of teaching my class and had the powerpoint up when it starting bouncing up and down on the screen then the whole room starting shaking. One of my students yelled, my boobs are shaking and another one said look at how the Ms. Marianne is bouncing, pointing at me. I'm sure it was sight! My kids daughter was home alone 36 miles away and she said some things fell off the shelves. We just had an aftershock about 20 minutes ago, but it wasn't as strong and didn't last as long. What a unique week, Tuesday an earthquake, then we are supposed to have hurricane Irene hit on Saturday!Supposedly, a neighbor down the road said he felt the earthquake before 2PM. I still don't remember feeling anything. My brothers said that some guys around the Charlotte area (NC) felt it.
Yup, the hurricane is headed right towards Charlotte, and basically the whole Carolina's. Well there's still time for it to miss us,
hopefully. :leaving:
