Sorry if this has been asked before but I'm having a sleepy brain day...
I've gotten very far behind on my plans to take CLEPs and haven't even begun DSSTs ...
(And I'm not sure how to start the TECEP process with TESC while enrolled, I have this weird irrational fear that their inept office workers will unenroll me if I sign up for *gasp* more credits than the comprehensive tuition plan covers!)
Are there any CLEP/DSST type tests that can be done online through proctorU? or something as easy as proctorU?
Total Newb
- Enrolled at TESC for AA, eventually going for BA Psych.
Thanks to everyone who provides such awesome information on this site, I'm slowly getting the hang of this crazy process.
CLEP - Intro. Psych. - 63, A&I Literature - 72, Intro. Edu. Psych. - 59
ALEKS - Intermediate Algebra
FEMA - 12 Credits

Straighterline courses can be knocked out pretty quickly and they use ProctorU for the final exam.
Use promo code STUDENTAMB395 on your next straighterline course! #SLambassador

I didn't know where to start either, so I began with credits I know I need and focused on that one test. I realized that I wasted a lot of time worrying and planning and weighing my options. Since Jan 1st, I've hunkered down and focused. I've taken the DSST intro to computing, German Language Clep, and am finishing my Saylor Business Comms and Marketing Finals Saturday. That's 21 credits in a little over 2 weeks.

CLEPs:
German Language 75
Awesome! And welcome.
And say, could you give us any insight about studying for German Language especially, maybe in a new thread? We don't hear much about that one, or the CLEP language tests generally, even though they can be great sources of credit, up to 12 sh each at the Big Three.

Will do! I would be honored to contribute to the wealth of information on here.
As far as DSST Intro to Computing is concerned, all you need is instacert. Heck, I passed the test on 26 minutes thanks to instacert.
