Interested in hearing what you all have planned for 2026 in terms of your educational goals.
I am planning to finish up my MBA, get some Coursera certificates, and start another masters while I continue plugging away at UoPeople. I must admit, the latter feels like quite the slog some days with all its required discussion posts, but I want to stick with it as the material is interesting and relevant to my work.

I'll be finishing my Doctorate, a Masters, and a Bachelors at the same time. I wish I could update my signature with more degrees that I accomplished/enrolled in, but there are simply not enough characters

Amazing! I think I will finish my second masters (it's CBE), and will be looking into doctorates. Not sure what direction I want to go in yet though. The Valdosta and Open University of Kenya EdDs look very interesting, but I want to take a few more courses in adult education and learning technology before I go in that direction to make sure I like it *enough*. I don't think I'll be finishing my UoPeople bachelor's in 2026, but never say never!

Just to continue my love affair with life-long learning:
1. I expect to begin Year Four of the Basic Program in the fall.
2. I will begin a new course of study next week. It is related to something I hope to study for the rest of my life.
3. Find the right vehicle to pursue the matter I hope to study.
-Details to follow up on achieving a few milestones.-
Wishing everyone a wonderful New Year and success in identifying and achieving new and old goals.

Ah, I did see that Ed.D from Kenya. I think that was only something that was recently discussed about. Looks like a great program

Hmm... Thinking of taking up a language... No, not a computer programming language, but a language that I am interested in. German, Spanish, are my top two choices at the moment. I may go do a 360 and do some other language that maybe easier to learn...

Spanish and or Mandarin may be great choices, especially within the world of business.

Since elementary, I took French Immersion up to 12th grade, Spanish would be an easier language to learn in that regard. Mandarin is my native language. The only time I use French is when I am with my kids, since both of them are in French Immersion. But, they speak mainly Mandarin at home with my parents and wife.

Wow! So three languages already? That's quite impressive. Aside from English, my fluency with Spanish is at best intermediate. I wish I had invested more time earlier on to really learn another language. My understanding is that proficiency with another becomes harder as you age; I should be developing my skills in another language. I am going to make an effort to have my kid learn Spanish very early on.
