can anyone offer any info on this subject. I just completed A.A.S from Excelsior's nursing program. I re-enrolled in BSLA degree program. my question is, I need to raise my GPA up, its currently 2.80, (I was trying to complete my nursing exams quickly). I just received my evaluation, I need 18 ul arts and science credits, trying to do DSST for the remaining ones. I will also complete Excelsiors, abnormel psych and pathophysiology. What is the best way to do this, retake classes, will Excelsior let me drop a few C grades? Is this possible? With the help of IC I plan to achieve A on my Excelsior exams. Any feed back is appreciated, I did not see any info on this.

I've not run across this addressed on ECs site - but then again - there are what seem like thousands of pages. Send your advisor this question so you'll know for sure. If you're not enrolled, I'll ask for you.

I agree; you should talk to your advisor immediately about your options and read the Student Policy Handbook about grades and transcripts.
It is my understanding that you have 30 days from the time that you enrolled and the official evaluation was completed to make changes to your transcript, as far as which courses (already completed) and grades you will be using toward this degree. It is a narrow window and choices seem to be permanent.
I'm not sure if they still offer this. Let us know what you find out.
