Experience with Universidad Azteca's Master's programs?
#1
I was wondering if anyone has completed one of Universidad Azteca's master's programs (grado propio).

What learning materials did they provide? How were the assessments? Was it worth the money?

I have a PhD in Education from them that was offered as an inter-university program with UCN, thus the only diploma received was from UCN since that's the credential that was fully recognized.

I would not recommend the grado propio from Universidad Azteca as it would not receive full recognition.  You will likely get a foreign credential evaluation similar to ENEBs due to the propio status.   I've seen one where someone with a post-doc got non-accredited program equivalency since the program itself lacked RVOE although everything else was fully recognized.   I would only do a grado propio from Azteca if you are planning on validating a degree from a non-accredited institution or program elsewhere as they will certify all of those hours leading a regionally accredited equivalent of hours but not a fully recognized degree as it would still be a non-accredited program.  Otherwise, select one of their official degree programs.

The learning materials that you will receive will depend on the program you choose. If the degree is a research degree, you will only do a project or thesis. If it is a professional or course-work type degree, they will supply you with the coursework. Their official programs look like they have an established curriculum while their propio programs are more open. I only did the thesis and proposal for my PhD because with my surplus of ECTS, I was accepted with advanced standing. There was no other coursework involved.
PhD in Education - Azteca Universidad European Programs / University of Central Nicaragua
MEd Learning Systems Technology, University of Arkansas at Little Rock
GCert Technology Innovation, University of Arkansas at Little Rock
BS Mathematics, University of Arkansas at Little Rock
AA, AS General Studies, Pulaski Technical College, North Little Rock
AAS Computer Information Systems, Pulaski Technical College, North Little Rock
Certificate of Proficiency Entrepreneurship, University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College, North Little Rock

I've heard that course materials vary by program, if you're considering cost, make sure the program aligns with your career goals and offers accredited certifications.

Which platform/site did you use to register for your UCN/Azteca degrees? A brief Google search turns up a .net domain, an edu.mx domain, and even a .university domain (focusing on 'European Programmes').

Are all of these legitimate (ie. established or recognized by the universities in question) and do they lead to the same degrees at roughly the same prices?
