A lot of online educational sites are providing free resources right now(sophia, rossetta stone, udacity, ect.) and I didn't see anyone here mention this offer yet so I thought I'd mention it here. The CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ cert is designed for Jr. High and HS students or people completely new to the IT industry.

That's awesome for the newbies, I'll let my sisters kids know as they're in high school and want to learn something different than what they're doing (homeschooling).

I did the final test just to see if I got an actual certification and it looks like all you get is the class for free but still have to take the certification test elsewhere. I did not do the rest of the course since I'm also doing other courses that actually get me ACE credit.
