WOW - I should start "teaching" math. What a racket!!!!

Not saying anything bad about ALEKS - I think its great, but what a ripp off to pay tuition while using ALEKS..

I agree with GoodYellowDogs. The dean should realize that your son has already passed the course.

Or, maybe the community college course requires more than 70%, or they do their own mid-terms/finals, or something other than just ALEKS.

Yes, I need more facts before I get too worked up. I will explore this a bit more though.

Those of you who have used ALEKS know that there are a zillion types of classes offered, and only a handful are for college credit, so it's possible that they have a class they are using that isn't correlated to the ones my son did for college credit. I'm not sure, I will know more when he gets started. That said, if they ARE the same, I'm going full tilt. If they are not....well, then they'll argue that they are different classes.
