Failing TECEP twice

Depending on your budget, commitments, needing it to be RA or ACE credit, you need to decide which would suit your degree and hit the degree requirements.  I think there was an ASU course that also worked, if that $425 wouldn't break the budget, then you can search for that as well.

Quick Edit:
In my last reply to rachel83az, I have attached Credit Evaluation.xlsx for more clarity.

Thank you!

Thank you for your replies.
All my courses are RA.
I was recently accepted at TEST. As per evaluation, this is what I need to complete my BACS:

2. PHY-1120 - 3.00 - *TE
_________________________
0.33 credits needed

2: Additional General Education (if needed) (Waived)
!! Exception waived

I am not sure about number 2 above. They waived it. But it also reduced my earned credits.

3: Computer Science (42SH: 15SH must be upper level) (In progress)

Complete all 8 subrequirements:

B: Data Structures - Needed
*must earn a grade of C/CR or better

4: Liberal Arts Capstone (3SH) - Needed

Complete awarded for the following Electives.

5: Electives (30SH) (Complete)

Again number 5 Electives above is marked complete but they reduced my credits from 26 to 24.32. 30 credits are needed though.

I have TESU evaluations for BA.Math and BS.CIS as well.
I thought I will get an input on BACS first.

Thanks again!

For Public Speaking, definitely do "Presentation Skills in the Workplace" at SDC.

The exceptions are because you transferred in credit from a foreign school or a school on the quarter credit (instead of semester credit) system. You can (for now) ignore them. You have enough excess credits that you'll hit at least 120 credits in your degree by filling out the remaining requirements.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

I will definitely do "Presentation Skills in the Workplace" at SDC as you recommend.

I have attached
.xlsx   Credit Evaluation.xlsx (Size: 15.67 KB / Downloads: 5)  for more clarity.
Tables include courses I need for degrees completion per current evaluations.
Tables also include courses that were not considered for a degree.

Any insight or advice where to complete the remaining courses in a cost and time effective way will be greatly helpful.
I am new to this forum.
Evaluations are for:
1. BACS
2. BS.CIS
3. BA.MATH

I have an appointment with an advisor tomorrow.

I am trying to avoid TESU Network Technology UL course and seeking an alternative.  Smile

Note: All my current courses/credits are US RA.

Thank you!

Network Engineering TECEP
Software Engineering at Saylor
Software Engineering TESU class
Network Engineering TESU class
Artificial Intelligence TESU class
Computer Architecture at SDC (REQUIRED)
Systems Analysis & Design at SDC
Management Information Systems at SDC
Database Management at SDC
SAS Advanced Programmer Certificate from Coursera (will go to Additional AOS Electives, still counts for UL)

It's not a lot of choice, but you do get to chose whatever 4 of those will work best for you.

Unfortunately, I am not able to locate a course called Network Engineering TECEP. Or May be I don’t know how to find it. Sorry, thank you for the reply.
There is a course called Network Technology CMP-354 TECEP.

I believe its called Network Technology
Thank you for clarifying!

@evenFair23, yeah, you can take the Presentation Skills in the Workplace for that requirement. Since you'll be taking Study.com courses, you may want to bundle them to see if there are courses with overlap, or even do the 30% for 3 months by looking into the code or coupons share thread.

Ok, I will try to figure that out. Hopefully practice will help me get close to finishing those degree(s) with BACS my first and main focus.

I'm taking the TECEP networking exam (CMP-354) again soon and plan on passing, but was wondering just in case.

I procrastinated on the CMP-354 retake and retook it last weekend. Finally passed it on my second attempt! Smile

I copied each topic and sub-topics from the CMP-354 syllabus into ChatGPT and asked it to "go more in depth" on topics I needed more in depth info on. While I was doing that I skimmed through the topics in the official textbook and also did a few of the Study.com equivalent modules/quizzes.

Congrats on getting it done the second time around... It's great that you've provided more details and some steps on filling those learning or knowledge gaps.
