Finally - I Applied
#1
Well, after slacking and loitering around here for 18 months, or so, I FINALLy applied to TESC. (Boy, did they make it an ordeal. Their system has been slooooooow over the last few days.) I'll start sending in the million and one transcripts, and see what I have left to do to get a BSBA- Gen. Mgmt. While I'm at it, I'll try for that associates degree with all of my FEMA credits. Who knows? I might see if I can swing in another batchelors degree before my time runs out. Within the year, I plan to have my degrees. Come hell or high water, I'm going to lovely New Jersey, and walk to "Pomp and Circumstances."

I expect all of you to hold me to this, okay?

Congratulations on taking the next step! Welcome back to college!

I am planning to be finished with my degree by June 2013, too.

Ok Latebloomer, we will start cracking the whip! If you set your mind to it, you will be finished before you know it. I just kept my head down and plugged away and before I knew it my to do list had turned into my done list. Good luck! You will look great skipping across the stage to get your diploma!

Great news. TESC can be painful at times to deal with. But just make sure you keep everything and you get it in writing. Just incase.

TESC can drive you crazy at times, but perseverance pays off in the end.

Putting on that cap and gown and walking across that stage to say your name is a wonderful experience. Don't let anything get in your way.

It's been slow due to last few days of school for semester, ends June 23rd and exams. Welcome to TESC! Maybe we'll have a course together.

Slowly moving along. I've asked ACE to have my Penn Foster courses transcribed so that I can send them to TESC, and I've asked FEMA to send a transcript to TESC. I've filled out forms for most of the other 212 institutions I've attended, and will just have to get them out. Thanks folks for the encouraging words.

Sent in two faxes for other colleges to get those transcripts sent. I WILL get the other 210 transcripts requests mailed today. I'm a little bummed because of the capstones added to other degrees as I thought I might try for a second major, but it may be a good thing. Thinking of a second degree may just be my way of avoiding getting the first one!
