Oh, and before I forget, I've also done the work to have my AARTS (?) credits sent to TESC. Don't know where the Army credits will fall, but they have my CLEP exam results from about 25 years ago. It's going to be interesting to see how things fall in line with TESC's BSBA - Gen. Mgmt. course requirements. Who knows? The light at the end of the tunnel might NOT be a train. Oh, and I'll need to send in my DANTES and CLEP exam results, too. Then, in future, if I take any more exams, I'll just have them sent to TESC. I'm almost doing my happy dance. Aren't you glad we're not a forum with videos? Trust me, my happy dance looks VERY lame, but full of energy.

There's probably a German word for how I feel. (The Germans come up with the neatest words.) I've sent out all of the requests for transcripts. Normally, when I'm starting some new educational endeavor, I have this hyper phase. I'm like a firework, though, and soon burn out. With this phase of my education, however, I'm not feeling hyper. I have a feeling/sense of... I don't know. Contentment? Peace? Accomplishment? I don't know how to describe it, but it's a calm, positive feeling. I'm still at least four or five courses away from my bachelors degree, but I think that I can do it. I hope that I can. Thank all of you for all of the information and support that you've provided. This is a good place to hang out. Kinda like the local Cheers.

I hope that you will start to see that the end is in sight and that will provide any extra encouragement you need to finish your degree. I know that I have started to feel that way and it has been a great feeling to have.

NAP, thank you for the kind wishes. After I sent the requests for transcripts for TESC, I figured I'd have some of the free transcripts sent to me. Yippee! Who remembers sitting through (and passing!) Microeconomics? Not me. Guess what? I did. My college career was, to say the least, a bit... scattered. Since I always focus on negative things, I remember that I stopped attending a class w/o withdrawing, but forget that I passed another course. Of course, focusing on the negative, I've never passed a math course that will cover the precalculus or the trigonometry requirement. I've got to check my table to see what else I can check off the list. Graduation, here I come!

Thank you. For some weird reason, I'm having trouble getting back into the CLEP/DSST study routine. It's weird as I MUCH prefer testing to classes.

Okay, I have one unofficial evaluation, Jennifer. When I called up to ask about something, they did it. Yikes! I was still missing about 4 transcripts, so it wasn't as comprehensive as I would have liked. My biggies - CLEP, DSST, and two B&Ms - weren't even in yet. As Of today, I'm missing one transcript. University of Maryland is taking their sweet time sending in my transcript. (They must be learning something from all of the soldiers that they teach. Namely, hurry up and wait.) When that's done, I think that I'll have Stats (which I'm now taking at Penn Foster), my capstone, Bus. Ethics, precalc or trig, marketing, and something from the accounting field yet to take. My plan is to test out of marketing and bus. ethics. Maybe take a test for the capstone. Possiblty SL for the accounting course. Who knows how I'll do the math? Like Scarlet O'Hara, I'll think about that tomorrow. ALEKS and I aren't the best of learning buds.

So your'e doing statistics via Penn Foster? I called them up recently, they go by the term, and not per course. So you must have enrolled for a term. Do you intend to take all your math via penn foster and submit it later to Tesc?

Individual courses courses can be taken at Penn Foster. Penn Foster will also allow you to take a course not on the list. However, they are notoriously slow to answer, but other members have successfully taken this route.
Penn Foster courses that have been evaluated and approved by ACE are transferable to TESC. Not ALL Penn Foster courses are ACE evaluated, so be careful. Statistics is ACE evaluated and approved for credit
ALEKS: College Algebra, Introduction to Statistics, Pre-Calculus
CLEP: American Government, American History I, Principles of Marketing
DSST: Business Ethics and Society, Civil War and Reconstruction, History of the Vietnam War, Human Resource Management, Management Information Systems, Money & Banking, Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union
Straighterline: Accounting I, Accounting II, Business Communications, Business Ethics, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Managerial Accounting, Organizational Behavior, Principles of Management
