Max Credit help for TESU

I was thinking maybe I'm drunk on eggnog or something cause I don't remember Calculus II or III being a part of BACS at TESU.

Yeah, there was a discussion recently about the BACS/BAM combo, and it's easy to confuse the requirements when they're all mixed together in a single degree plan.

Also, some schools do require Calc II/III for their CS degree, so it's generally easy to get confused about what is required where.

I saw on a post that you need Cal ll & lll and Discrete math for the TESU BACS. Do those get waived because I will have my degree?

That must have been for the BAM (Mathematics). Unless something changed recently and wasn't discussed here (not likely!), only Calc I is needed for the BACS:

Sophia is highly recommended for Calc I, likewise DM at Study.com.

However, I'm trying to understand your strategy. If you're going for multiple levels of business/leadership degrees, why bother with the BACS?

That would be awesome if it doesn't. I have Cal l from Sophia and I will get the Study credits after my degree confers from TAMUC.

Don't forget that the BACS will be considered a second bachelor's at TESU and 24 of your credits will have to be earned after your first degree confers. Not sure exactly when you graduate, but careful.

Can you explain this a little more please?  My final semester starts Jan 13th to March 2nd and I should be done my classes by the 2nd week not sure if they confer immediately or if I have to wait until the end of the semester.

1) Create a spreadsheet for reference and tracking purposes, get the degree plan from the WIKI and link us to your degree plan.
2) Complete the classes from Study.com first before you start your TESU journey, you can review my Bio/Signature for the coupon.

Yes I want to take the BACS at TESU I think it maybe a little faster than WGU. I really wanted to WGU SWE but the program has so many different classes and certs to get max transfer credits and financial aid gets held up for 6 months.  I guess I have an emphasis on acceleration. 
The goal is to complete TESU the UMPI MAOL and possible South College DBA. 
I see you did UMPI what are your thoughts on the program and is it reasonable to think I can do in one term?
Are the classes on TESU self paced like UMPI and WGU I couldn't find a clear answer?

With a TAMUC degree, your general education requirements at TESU will be waived. The only course you’ll need to take at TESU is the capstone. While it isn’t 'self-paced,' when you start the course, you’ll see all the written assignments and forum posts required for the entire course. This means you can work ahead, making the deadlines less stressful and easier to manage alongside your other commitments.

1) You can do the intro to programming course for free at onlinedegree.com.

2) There are several UL credits that you can get from Coursera. Google's cloud data analytics and IBM's software engineering will get you three UL courses. There are several other credit options on Coursera that will get you the remaining LL courses for the AOS.

3) for operating systems at study.com, take 105, not 305.

For the intro to programming does Sophia Python or Java cover this ?

 I signed up for Coursera and will start studying to knock the out the Google certs.

This just lifted bricks off my shoulders (Calculus II or III ).
I'm sorry if this sounds repetitive, but I wanted to clarify can I start the Google courses before my degree is officially conferred, or would it be better to wait until after  to take any additional courses?

It's best to wait for conferral, but if you're proactive and want to get somethings done while waiting, you can be 'almost' complete with the Coursera, Sophia.org, Study.com classes, and then transfer them in when you complete them. For example, if you know you're going to be completing X number of Coursera certs that will transfer into the degree, then you can complete everything required except the graded assignments. When you have conferred, complete the assignment and send the info to ACE, then request a transcript sent to the institution. Rinse and repeat with Sophia.org and Study.com counterpart classes remaining for max transfer...
