I am aware. I wouldn't recommend it for a liberal-arts degree. That's why I specifically singled-out Oregon's post-bac (second bachelor degrees). Oregon State's the only way a foreigner can get a legit Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree (as a 2nd bachelors) in 12-16 months from a decent school. Yeah I know TESU has a BS in IT.

For most people, a BS vs. BA doesn't really matter. The important part is the AOS. TESU does have a Comp. Sci. degree that will work just fine for most individuals.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA

Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

For many foreigners TESU BA ComSci vs Oregon State wont make much difference in life. If they plan to use it in their countries. Even in other cases i dont see much difference

I'd also give APUS (American Public University) a look. In at least the BA in General Studies (and probably more), Sophia knocks out all the Gen Eds and a fair few electives. They take 90 transfer credits (60 alternative and 30 RA or even NA). $920 per class all-in, including all fees and learning materials. No proctored exams.

$920 per class is still quite expensive. That's nearly $28k for that degree! Quite a bit more than even a TESU lib studies degree.

$920/course x 10 courses = $9200 (I think you multiplied $920 by credits)

They only require 10 classes to be taken there. The $920 per class includes textbooks (no fees for exams). Application and transfer credit evaluations are free The 8-week classes also make it easier to finish faster than the standard 10-16 weeks.

Just giving another option besides the usual "Big 3" recommendations.

Ah, yes, my mistake. $9200 for a degree is better, yes.

So it'd be:
$400 - Sophia (approximate)
$2000 - 10 classes @ TEL Learning
$9200 - 10 classes @ APUS
---------------
$11600 total

I wouldn't limit myself to TEL for RA (not one of their classes was of any use to me). I'd also hit Study.com, and knock out say three required majors for 90 bucks each in a month. There are so many options out there.

TBH, I originally looked at TESU, and the tuition and fees made my head spin. Just no way. $544/cr, fees for breathing, 12-week classes, proctored exams and endless red tape. GAH. Nope nope nope.

TEL just happens to be the cheapest way to hit 30 RA credits. It's not the only way, no. But if it's too expensive to go with TEL then it'll be too expensive with other RA credit options. Especially since, sadly, Study.com isn't RA credit.

I wasn't suggesting that SDC is RA, just saying it's something else I would look at in putting together a degree plan, as you'd have 60 alternative credits to play with. I didn't go with TEL not because of the cost, but because none of the classes were useful to me. And like many of the options always recommended here (Luna, Clovis, NMJC, etc.), the offerings are just too sparse.
