I plan on taking this exam in late July or early August. Are the flash cards from IC enough for this exam? In reading the EC forums, it appears that theories are a big item on this exam.

Hello again, I took the liberty of doing a search of the forum, and came up with a post I did after I completed this test; please click on this to view:
http://www.instantcertonline.com/forums/...erontology. If you type in Gerontology in the search function, you'll receive some excellent feedback from others who have successfully passed this test. It is a very passable test, make sure you're rested/well studied and you'll do fine. Be sure to post your own feedback and we'll add it to the new section. Lee

Lee,
Thanks for the info. I have read the other posts, but they were older, and I didn't know if the test was still the same. EC has a habit of changing tests without notice.

Minnie,
Granted, they may change the test at the last moment, but they can't change the test subject. I usually take what people specifically write about tests with a grain of salt, most of the times, here are several different versions of the same test at testing centers. What one person has on their test does not guarantee it will be on yours. IC will teach you the whole test and concepts contained within; enabling you to do well on whatever version they throw at you.
P.S. If you are planning to take Adulthood and Aging, I would do those cards too prior to Gerontology, there is a lot of overlap. Just my advice.
Good luck and be sure to let us know how you did! Lee

Lee,
Thanks. I am just trying to get all my ducks in a row, and plan for this test. I have to get past A/I Lit. first, which I am not looking forward to taking. Everything I have read makes A/I look like a walk in the park, but my brain is getting old (LOL)

, and it takes me longer to study and prepare. The FOG test is my last one of the EC exams. I took Abnormal Psych a couple of months ago, and thought it was an easy exam.
