I can't wait to get my certificate.

FYI, my teacher said that next semester will be the last one in which this certificate will be available in this way.  After that, there will be prerequisites before one can sign up for the class.  If you're interested in this certificate, do it next semester!
Congratulations on finishing  Smile. Could you describe your experience and how the course was laid out? Are there live video classes? When is the next semester starting? I can't find any of that info in the website.  Confused

Sorry that I haven't been here in a while.  I've been busy trying to herd cats while my family was on vacation.

The class went like this:

2 hour class meeting on Zoom once a week, with some small group discussions in breakout rooms.
Readings and assignments, including (non-graded) journal entries.
A final project re: an org or agency who uses Community Health Workers.
Instructor offered several opportunities for extra credit.

I loved this class because even though we never met in person, we developed a little community, which was nice.  Also, the instructor was hella supportive and engaging.
Finished Degrees and Certificates:
AAS, BOG (Info Systems)---Pierpont Community and Technical College, December 2023
Certificate, Community Health Worker---Berkeley City College, December 2023

Currently:
BA, Liberal Studies---Thomas Edison State University, (July 2024-present)

Considering:
MA in Counseling---not sure where.
