Sophia free class

Thanks for this info. On the Pheonix Sophia portal it has a - instead of the credit amount, is the credit still able to be received? And also, does the free Foundations of English Composition class fulfill the ENC-101 acquirement for BALS with TESU?

Previously, TESU said it would not take any of those courses as credit, because they were "developmental."  Then, for whatever reason, a couple of people on here said they accepted the Stats course.

My advice: if you have the time, take the courses.  Worst thing that happens is TESU won't take them.  Best is that they will.  Somewhere in between - it's good study material when you want to take the "real" courses, or test out.

That makes some sense. After all, a "developmental" Stats course doesn't really make sense the same way it does for English or Algebra where they expect you to come in with HS courses under your belt.
