If you had unlimited money, what you would change out in your program to maximize speed? What is the plan the rest of the way?

I know SL and ALEKS are built for speed, but Saylor looks like a time sink in your program. What is the AA and BA program at WVUP so I can look at this?

Sorry for so many questions. I'd like to have a family member, who also lives in WV, to try this. It sounds like you're faster than me at completing SL courses, and I'm pretty quick (eg. my ProctorU final record is 12 minutes).

1. If you had unlimited money, what you would change out in your program to maximize speed?

i would keep all the current courses and add more courses in the business area. For me i had to much time on my hands and not enough money so with unlimited money i probably would have completed the whole straighterline catalog plus try excelu exit exams

2. What is the plan the rest of the way?

That is what i am currently planning out how to get my bachelors within the same time frame starting in september. MY thoughts are to do more University of Florida flexible learning courses to get the upper level requirement for graduation at any school. I currently need 39 credits for a bachelors and im thinking of doing

university of florida flexible learning
ENC 3310 advanced Composition 8 1500 word essays
ENC 3250 professional communication 8 1500 word essays
CLP 4110 Eating Disorders

i would still need 30 credits mostly UL so im currently looking for companies who also give ace credit for business course online.

3. I know SL and ALEKS are built for speed, but Saylor looks like a time sink in your program

for me saylor was easy i jut did the non credit final and sent the certificate to the school and received credit. I did some research and if your school allows it you dont need the proctored exam if they give you proof you passed the course for me it was the certificate but most of the business courses are simple. Google is your friend for the saylor non proctered final the answeres are no where to be found but if you search key words you can find little exerts with the answer from saylor or other places.

4. What is the AA and BA program at WVUP so I can look at this

Board of Governors Associate Degree
they have a bachelors but it requires 23 credits in residency which if you do the AA you only need 20 cr but the cost is to much unless you use Financial Aid

im not even sure what my shortest proctored time was i just had one goal "FINISH AS MUCH AS YOU CAN AND DONT BE A QUITTER"

We have had a few threads here about the West Virginia Board of Governors AAS programs. The Regents Bachelor of Arts degrees are available at most state universities (even Marshall) in WV, but they require 24-ish credits in residency. They are very flexible though.

I have been contemplating that path only because i would be out of state but if i could qualify for instate WVUP would be perfect because they dont charge you for credits after 12 hours so that would be 1200 vs 5800 instate vs out of state.

The non proctored final doesn't give you credit. Using it as a study guide and researching what you don't know for the real final for credit before you take it seems acceptable

Oh wait I just read the part about tricking the school by submitting the certificate for the non-proctored final. Yeah, that's super shady.

80 credits partly through dishonesty doesn't seem as impressive now.
