Grand Rapids Community College in Michigan has eleven challenge exams for $55 each. These are in person tests, but that is pretty cheap for multi-credit exams. Someone could take a road trip and knock out a bunch of credits really cheap.

I wonder if they reflect on a transcript in a transferrable way

These are at College of Lake County near Chicago and $50 per exam. https://www.clcillinois.edu/student-serv...enge-exams I bet if people looked under some rocks, these things are everywhere.
