I have done a few courses from Straighterline but I'm rather frustrated with this subject. I am not a fan of writing essays that aren't creative(I did well in English comp 1 because I got away with my joking around). Anyways I'm looking for a grounded critical analysis essay on Frankenstein that is straightforward. I've spent an hour looking around and I haven't had any luck finding one yet.

I'm taking this one as well, and while I agree that it is a very frustrating course, you could've easily spent an hour working on your own critical analysis essay rather than shortchanging yourself by looking for the easy way out. An option is to take the 6 cr hour clep which would duplicate your ENG101 instead of SL for this one??

Wow......Looking for an example is not the easy way out of something you don't understand.

I'd be interested in doing the CLEP but it involves flying to Honolulu(there are no testing centers on island), taking a taxi to the testing center and potentially bombing the test. I've taken(I passed 3/4 so I guess 3 is my limit) 4 CLEPs at once before on two separate occasions to make it worth my while, along with my other runs I took to pass my other DSSTs and CLEPs.
However in this case it's a tough subject for me and I need to take it slowly

I'm not trying to be lazy but I get anxious with this type of stuff when it says "Find a publication". I sometimes get so stuck in the box with thinking... I will go the route you mentioned about writing out my own critical essay and then going from there.
RugbyMan187, not to be pompous or anything but most of the tests I've taken were before I was 17 and life got in the way so things have been slow/drawn out. I've been around the block with this stuff, but I have a lot of difficulty with some of subjects and that's why I asked for advice.

jm82792 is NOT trying to cheat! This particular English Comp 2 assignment requires him to look for a Critical Analysis Essay from a reputed source, for example: from a university professor, the student then evaluates this reputed critical analysis essay and creates his own work. You guys have it all twisted, lol.

I know I just read it and I'm like what the heck?
Any help would be nice, just one that's not from the year 1818 as they are too hard for me to understand. I've seriously spent an like an hour and half looking without getting a straightforward one that wasn't written by .. say a physiologist.
For the cartoon analysis essay(I sometimes skip stuff then go back. My bad habit ) I'm going to talk to a friend who has drawn his own comic for a few years straight and has done concept work in Hollywood. Why? Primarily because I know I might have things "decent" for the first half. For now I have acceptable(as I said it's not my subject) grades but sometimes the second half creams me.
Why can't I ask for some help here

Use the link below, I used the first website which is actually a PDF file to build my essay. I received a grade of 19. What you have to do is read the essay and develop your own essay from that.
Google
Also, you don't have to do the assignments in order. I did all the easy essays first, to ensure I would get a passing grade, once I passed the 70% mark I didn't stress to much on my final essay's.

Thanks for the link, I greatly appreciate it.
Yeah I don't usually do my assignments in order,
it's nice to see that 70% and to know whatever is left is gravy grade wise.
Although in this case i have to fight for it since it's not my favorite subject.

Believe me, it's not my favorite subject either, to many rules. Don't over think the assignments, the political cartoon is pretty easy.
I was just thinking why don't you talk with a local community college, about bringing DSST and CLEP testing to their campus. Make an appointment with their test center supervisor and inquire. It shouldn't cost them anything, they just have to have certain requirements to be able to test.

You could be making a difference in your community. Do some research, then make that appointment. Good Luck! If you need anything let me know. Maybe your local high school could be a test center, just a thought.

I have done some calls, I have a friend who has a relentless mother who has made it her mission to get CLEP and DSST to be proctored on Island. But for a few years it's been maybe next year or such.
I hate it how people say just go to UH Hilo and watch money spontaneously combust.
