Hello,
I'm looking for information about the Metropolia Bachelor's degree in Information Technology. From my understanding, we need to enroll in the Open UAS Path for 579 EUR (120 ECTS) which should open on the 1st or 4th of August. On the webpage about the bachelor in Information Technology it still reports the 180 + 60 option, and it’s noted that the changes will be updated in Autumn.
I’d like to know a few things:

On the webpage about the bachelor in Information Technology it still reports the 180 + 60 option, and it’s noted that the changes will be updated in Autumn.
I’d like to know a few things:
- For the remaining 60 credits (which should become 120 now...?), can these be completed at my own pace, or is there a strict two-year completion timeline?
- If I enrol in the full Open UAS Path, can I still complete the courses at my own pace?
- Is it possible to enrol in individual courses and later combine these credits towards bachelor's degree enrolment? (I mean doing the individual courses of the path without enrolling in the path)
- I'm confused by the "NonStop" designation for courses, because specific enrolment and running dates are provided. I.e., "Engineering Physics 1" is listed as "NonStop," yet its details show a timing date of 01.01.2025 - 31.12.2026 and an enrolment period of 16.04.2024 08:00 - 31.07.2025 23:59
- For those with personal experience at Metropolia, how flexible is the Work Placement module? I'm concerned about finding internships independently in my home country (read: it’s almost impossible).
- Lastly, are there any similar options in other institutions/countries (within the EU)? I've searched everywhere but haven't found anything comparable, but you're better than me at these things
