TESU BACS or BSTS planning advice
#1
Your Location: Slovakia
Your Age: 42
What kind of degree do you want?: BACS or BSTS?
Current Regional Accredited Credits: 134.5 + 9? see below (only C and better courses)
Current ACE, CLEP, or NCCRS Credits:
Any certifications or military experience?:NA
Budget: $7000 this could be more once I will start job however I will have less time to study
Commitments: fulltime job in 3months,
Dedicated time to study: next 3 months full time student afterwards 15-20 hours a week.
Timeline:4-6 months finishing most of the needed courses asap
Tuition assistance/reimbursement: NA

Some background, I have studied abroad (Europe - EU) and have already my WES transcript at hand, see courses below (only C and better). I have applied to TESU and sent transcript from WES already for evaluation. I have already taken 3 courses via TEL education: College Algebra, Introduction to IT, Music appreciation so I have 9 credits from MID-American Christian University and want to use them to waive TOEFL requirement for international students.
I have studied SW engineering at Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology so I have Engineering and CS courses, however I am missing a lot of general education courses. I am aware that I need to take English COMP I+II, Public Speaking, and probably American Gov. + American History I at least. I would like to ask what would be fastest way to achieve BACS (or BSTS)?. From what I see at TESU site BACS would need additional Data Structures and BSTS Introduction to Statistics and Project Management, besides other courses that I am not aware of now (awaiting evaluation). What would be the best approach to take missing general education courses which provider should I use and what are the effortless options for them.

My aim is to finish one Bachelor's degree and go for Masters in Cybersecurity at TESU (not sure if someone has experience with this one). I am currently working in cybersecurity. After finishing Masters degree I might want to go back to finish second Bachelor's degree if it is worth the effort.

Some more background:
I like Math and Science. For me it is very tedious to learn something like Music appreciation/Philosophy, however I have very good memory and can get through it if needed (my morale is suffering however). I like TEL education approach with lot of tests/quizzes. I don't mind proctored test however it is nice perk if it is not needed. I am very detailed oriented so writing is taking me ages ( it needs to be perfect ...).
Thank you for your help.

I've done some research on TESU's BACS degree, so I may be able to help you there.  You can earn general education credits quickly, easily, and cheaply at Sophia.org and Study.com and transfer them to TESU, even after you've been admitted to the university and finished some of your TESU courses.  Sophia.org and Study.com courses are open book, open notes, non-proctored exams.

Check the Sample TESU General Education Requirements Roadmap - Degree Forum Wiki from the 2022 course catalog for an idea of which equivalent Sophia.org and Study.com general education courses you can take, but ultimately, TESU will tell you which courses you can take to transfer to TESU from Sophia.org and Study.com after evaluating your transcripts.  Also, check the Sample TESU BA Computer Science Plan - Degree Forum Wiki for equivalent cheap courses from Sophia.org and Study.com that can transfer to the BACS degree.

See the forum Online Degrees and CLEP and DSST Exam Prep Discussion - Saylor.org, Straighterline, Study.com, Sophia.Org, Coursera Discussion for more info on Sophia.org and Study.com and current discounts.

Basically, I would follow those steps listed above to get the general education, electives, and requirements completed. Having said that, you want to make sure your classes all transfer over to max out your credits. These transfer credits should hit the 30 RA credit requirements. You need to also decide if you're looking at doing 15 flat rate residency credits or paying the Edison Accelerate Fee...
