How long does it take to get an ACE transcript?

I seem to be having a problem lately getting my transcripts to show up at TESC. I took a DSST on Jan. 15 the transcript was received at TESC on Jan 26, but it did not show as recieved until I sent a ticket on Feb 5. Next I took a DSST on Feb 5 That transcript was received on Feb 16, but did not show up as received until Feb 25. So my question is if I requested an ACE transcript on Feb 23. When should I expect that transcript to get to TESC and when should I question them about it's receipt.

I had my ACE transcript sent to EC on 1/4, and they received it on 1/11. But you also have to take the wonderful weather that's been occuring on the east coast into account as a mitigating factor, so that may cause delays.

The one I sent in January only took six days.

The one I sent on February 18 just got there yesterday, March 1st. I'd give it until the end of the week before calling them.

I had ACE send a transcript to both TESC and EC on 1/26/10. Guess who got theirs on 2/5/10 and had it posted to my unofficial evaluation by 2/10/10? If you guessed, EC - you are correct. Guess who STILL TO THIS DAY has not acknowledged (and in fact denies that it is anywhere in the state of NJ) receipt of it? If you guessed TESC - you are on a roll and deserve a prize!! banghead

I also had a CLEP test that for some reason did not get posted to my evaluation because TESC is saying that College Board did not include it on my transcript. I spoke to College Board and they said it was included; however, I paid to have a separate transcript re-sent to TESC just because I am tired of fighting with them. That was last week - it will never show up in time for the April 1st deadline!

I spoke to TESC this morning (like I do pretty much every morning) begging them to open their mail and process my gosh darn transcripts. They maintain firm in their stance that the ACE transcript does not exist. I finally had ACE send another one on 2/26/10 out of desperation.

Also, I took a DSST on 2/10/10 which TESC said they just received today. Funny that it should up just as I was calling them, hmmmmm. But, of course it won't be processed and added to my evaluation until who knows when.

Oh, and I took a TECEP on 2/18/10 and had it mailed with a delivery confirmation receipt. The USPS shows that it was delivered on 2/20/10 at 8:34 am but TESC still has not "logged it in yet". I'm not complaining that it hasn't been graded yet but they won't even acknowledge that they have it.

I know they've been having bad weather out there but TESC is in NJ and EC is in NY. So, does that excuse really hold water?

Just to update since I was on such a rant my last post - TESC finally (3/8/10) posted my ACE credits to my transcript. Oh, and they "found" the DSST Business Ethics and posted that too.

Yipppeee! Now, if only they'd "find" the 2nd Clep transcript that was sent. Oh well, I don't want to push my luck with them this week. Especially since I'm taking a TECEP today and want them to grade it!

ACE seems to be back on schedule after the delays caused by the snow storms in February.

I ordered a transcript on 3/2 and Excelsior received it on 3/8. I was surprised it was that quick.

I had a copy of the ACE transcript sent to me and it arrived on 3/4 so I called TESC yesterday and they told me they were just entering the mail received on 3/2. When I complained some they found mine it had arrived on 3/5. They put it on my transcripts received. Now I just have to wait until they get around to adding those the DSST I took on 2/5 and the CLEP I took on 3/6 to my transcript. By that time I will have taken another CLEP or 2 and a ECE plus have FEMA transcript sent. I am just hoping they can get caught up and get everything added before the July 1 deadline.

I was always a supporter of TESC, but I am very unhappy with them lately.
