Straighterline College Algebra

My husband took SL CA in 2012 and passed. I wish I would have done it at the same time. Apparently they have changed the percentages for the tests and now 50% of the grade is the Final Exam. I am currently sitting at 425/500 but I have been using an online calculator and luck. Smile But for the final you have to use a scientific calculator and though I borrowed one I have not used one in 15yrs.

Any suggestions? I am very stressed about this final test!

The good news is you only need 275 on the final to pass the course.

If you're struggling to get through it via textbook alone, you could use some additional study materials. I suggest KhanAcademy (free) or ALEKS ($20/mo). Khan has videos, ALEKS does it all by written explanation & examples, both are good.

Also, if you can't pass SL after additional study, does your school accept ALEKS (ACE-recommended courses)? You might be able to do that instead.

I have studied hours of videos and have been a member of Khan for some time. I don't have the textbook as I was relying on my past knowledge and the internet since the text is insanely priced. Here is hoping for a 55%! Smile
