Well, it's official! I applied to COSC today and had my transcripts electronically sent to them today as well. After a full year of lurking and researching, I took the plunge and I'm on my way!!! I wanted to thank everyone for the help so far. Without you and this board I wouldn't be on this journey! I'll be sure to post my progress and questions along the way!

Here's to the Class of 2014 (hopefully) :hurray:

Congratulations. The first step is just as important as the last. Just remember to make progress and don't waste time looking for shortcuts. I personally wasted more times looking for loopholes and shortcuts than actually getting credits.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.

Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.

Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.
