I have 50 credits from a 4 year college in veterinary technology
I have another 40ish credits from a 2 year community college (all general education with lots of science courses, I was planning on going to vet school)
and then another 4 year school with about 8 credits
I applied at excelsior for a Bachelors in Science liberal arts today, so it'll be a bit for transcripts to be matriculated, but just realized theres an $1100 enrollment fee...omg, wth?! I don't have $1100!
I just want a damn bachelors degree! I want something to show for everything I've done so far.
What would you suggest I do? stick with Excelsior? Try another of the Big 3?
Pierpont AAS BOG - Graduated 5/7/21
UMPI BAS minor in management- Graduated 6/1/2021
WGU MSML- Starting 7/1/21
Even with the enrollment fee, the cost of Excelsior is going to be lower than that of TESU. But, since you have so many RA credits already, COSC is going to be the cheapest option of all. I would apply there instead of Excelsior.
In progress: TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed: Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210
I would recommend applying to the COSC and TESU, to see what courses come through. But if cost is an issue, COSC would be the better choice... You have one thing you need to do right now, copy/paste your academic transcripts so we can give you a quick evaluation. It would be better to get a screenshot or pdf, just remove your personal details. We want to know the courses, names, grades you have for them...
Also, if you at least want "something" to show for what you've done so far, you might want to consider getting the FREE Pierpont BOG AAS if you don't already have an Associate's degree. The next graduation period for Pierpont is in May. If you apply now, you should have that degree in your hand before you get your Bachelor's degree.

I do not have an associates as of yet. My community college has me on an academic hold for withdrawing from a course and I literally have 1 class to finish.

With so many RA credits available, you should be able to get a degree for just the cost of transcripts.
omg! you're an angel. thank you!!! I'm gonna apply now! From what I'm reading, I don't need to send official transcripts? maybe I'm just reading to fast.
ETA: I was reading to fast. I'll have all my transcripts sent!

If you only have one class to take and on academic hold, you may want to see if you can take their online class and complete the Associates at the local community college. But do apply and get the Pierpont BOG AAS before you finish that class. You may want to check to see if it's worth it to finish the second associates at the local college, I would recommend it to get out of academic hold...
BTW, I saw your other thread, I'll send you a private message in regards to the COSC application waiver, just don't share it otherwise people will accidentally misuse it... I'll do that in a second...

I've since moved from the state that has the hold. I can get my transcripts, just cant graduate. honestly, that school is a pain in the butt for no reason, and I don't want to deal with them anymore. I withdrew because I was working to many hours, and had to much on my plate. and I need documentation of all of that. which, I guess I could do but it seems to be more trouble than its worth.
I did post attachments of my transcripts! hopefully I can move on with my life, get a bachelors and go on to get a masters. who knows, bigger things may be ahead!

Fees for the Big 3
----------------------------
COSC $3,181 – includes xfer of 114cr (up to 90cr of alternative) – take 6cr in residency + fees
TESU $6654 – includes xfer of 114cr (all can be alternative) – take 6cr in residency + fees
EC1 $5300 – includes xfer of 113cr (all can be alternative) – take 7cr in residency + fees
EC2 $5850 – includes xfer of 107cr (all can be alternative) – take 13cr in residency + fees
First, we need to know if the schools you took classes at were all RA? That makes a difference. Sometimes they aren't, in which case only EC would be an option. You can say the names of the schools if you want, or not.
Also, in looking at the transcripts, the number of credits is kind of wonky, so are these all regular semester-based courses, or is another system used? The credits have to be converted to semesters for all 3 schools.
I can do degree plans, but that info has to be known before anyone can help you.
