Congrats!

I live in New Braunfels and my business has me up and down 35 between SA and Austin. 35 & 1604 was not near the problem it is now when I moved here 7-8 years ago.

With regards to the commute, this is my main recommendation:

It's easier if you drive North on I-35 in the mornings. In the evenings, I can't tell you which way to drive.

If you could get through by 2 PM, cool. anything after that and you'll probably be bumping into unnecessary slowdowns caused by the drivers who change lanes too often, slow down in the left lane, pass just to take an exit, and move into the left lanes prior to getting up to highway speed...and that's on a good day!

If you could get close to campus, it'd probably be for the best, as the numerous bad drivers make the traffic a lot worse than it should be.
