Was wondering if any of these courses offered by TESU are offered on study.com or other alternative credit websites. I made a goal to complete by winter 2021 if not sooner and because of 2019 catalog I don't have to take SOS 110 but I may need LIT 291 to satisfy another category of my BA in English (and LIT 292 is not available other than CLEP). Most of the english and literature ones at study.com will go towards my core courses.

Unless the info technology course from Sophia transfers as CMP 202. That would be awesome!!

If you're on an old catalog, technical writing may satisfy that requirement. SDC Library Science 101 is supposed to come in as LIS-102 : Information Literacy and may also fulfill the requirement. It's pretty easy and relatively common sense.

I just transferred in Intro to IT from Sophia. It came in as CIS-107.

You might want to look into Davar's 3-credit NCCRS-approved Info Lit course. $80, with no subscription to cancel or other marketing nonsense. They provide a PPT deck with a targeted study guide, and an excellent full-length textbook on pdf, provided by Open SUNY Textbooks.

In fact, this is one of a handful of Davar courses for which a narrated review of the PPT deck is available on their YouTube channel.

I paid $12 for the textbook on that big auction website, and I found it helpful, but others have said that they didn't need it. The exam consisted of 30 multiple choice and four "short essay" questions, which I found consistent with the study guide. They allow students to select either RPNow or ProctorFU. I used RPNow and had absolutely zero complications, as opposed to ProctorFU, which I was forced to use for other providers, and which cost me hours of frustration and attempted to rip me off every time I used them.

For what it's worth, Coopersmith also offers a similar Info Lit online course for $150, but it is 2 NCCRS credits and you are required to use ProctorFU.
