International Business Course

Mostly I'm just questioning their assumption that their school will care about this, which I don't think they will.

I am not worried about my school caring about the source of the ACE credit...Like I said I really wanted to keep this B&M degree more "traditional", traditional meaning not having courses from a 1,001 different sources.


But how about we keep this thread on topic, about international business credits not ACE transcripts.

:coolgleam: so, ironheadjack, did you email the institution to see if the TESU TECEP for Business in Society making the cut for the International Business requirements? If TESU accepts one or the other, I highly think other schools will do the same.

These were the CBEs I was referring to. It should be a last resort if the TECEP doesn't work. Hopefully it does.

LSU has a print-based International Marketing course for $651 plus books.

Adams State in Colorado has BUS 441 International Marketing and BUS 480 Global Business Strategies in a variety of formats from $495 plus books.

I was wondering if we knew of a way to get a 3cr. course in International Business on an ACE transcript other than Penn Foster...?

Even though ACE accepts PF credits, and my school is pretty good with ACE, I worry about its (PF) reputation amongst B&M schools.

I think you are correct in worrying about PF courses. They used to be on TV a lot back in the day for their high school, and career correspondence courses. If you are looking to eventually transfer into a good mba program, the adcom will be looking at the rigor of your course work.

Also glad you understand my point about PF. Just because it is a quick easy way to get credit now, doesn't mean it is best for your future career/education goals.
