I know that they are about the same in some aspects, but just how different are the contents? I have heard that Intro To Computing is very basic computer stuff and Information Systems and Computer Applications is more indepth, but just how different?

Just want to make sure I am studying the correct stuff. Taking them Wednesday a.m. Wish me luck.

Hi 50,

The difference is in the "Information Systems" aspect. They overlap on knowledge of basic computing terminology, what various things are called, what various things do, etc.

But the CLEP Info Sys exam also adds more knowledge into the mix...knowledge of the various types of Information Systems, and design processes.

The good news is that Instantcert will help you learn about the various Information Systems and design processes you need to know to do VERY WELL on the CLEP Info Sys exam.

Hope that helps,
Snazzlefrag
My name is Rob
