Apparently they are counted under Humanities, but have we confirmed if intro to religions is upper level or not? Can't seem to find it anywhere on here.

I've asked about that too and never received any replies. I'm doing as many classes as I can before enrolling, so I don't think TESC is going to be real helpful in answering my questions until after I enroll. However, if they didn't grant upper level credit, I would appeal because the course looks like it is basically the same as TESC's world religions course and the DSST religions test that are both granted upper level credit.

The easiest courses for me were Intro to Religion, Sociology and Cultural Anthropology. You can easily complete these courses in a day or two and get an A... just make sure to buy/rent the textbook.

When TESC took my SL Intro to Religions course, they put it in Humanities as REL101, even though Straighterline's website says they have it as a 400 level course. I never asked TESC about it, as I didn't need to use for an upper level course. But ask them.
I got a grade of 94 on Intro to Religions. It is one of the easiest courses I took. The easiest was Cultural Anthropology.

I passed yesterday with a 92 (I only started the course two days before). One point shy of an A! Oh well, I'll happily take my A-. I've started Cultural Anthropology. Hopefully that will be done in a couple of days and then (with the DSST exam I passed on Monday) it will make it a 9-credit week for me. I know that's a lightweight for a lot of folks, but it's the most I've ever been able to get done in a week. I agree that the Intro to Religion course was quite easy. I even got a 100 on the last quiz!
Just FYI, I spoke with TESC registrar's office and they put this in as REL-405. That is what's listed on my evaluation, and I have been told that this course equates to that. Perhaps I will call them to make sure. Many thanks.

Cultural Anthropology and Intro to Religion should satisfy the new requirements at TESC:
C. Personal and Social Responsibility 9
Diversity/Global Literacy
(3)
Intro to Religion
Respnsible Ethical Leadership
(3)
Ethics or Diversity Elective
(3)
Cultural Anthropology
All I need for those classes to get a quick pass is the book correct?
