Introduction to Computing is UP!
#1
We just posted up the Introduction to Computing DSST exam; it appears to have some overlap with the Information Systems and Computer Applications CLEP and the Management Information Systems DSST.

Please post up your results here and let us know how these new materials work for you!

While I am posting, I thought of something that would be really helpful: putting the ICs in alphabetical order under each subheading. Ie all the CLEPs alphabetically, DSSTs etc.

Hey just wanted to give some HUGE positive feedback for your Introduction to Computing section. I use computers a lot but I'm not at all the nerdy tech type, so I was a little apprehensive about this test. I found my big textbook did a fantastic job of making me utterly confused (I'm still not sure what language it was written in...Smile), so I studied the instantcert flashcards until I was dreaming about them (almost Wink) and passed with a 471. Being very familiar with the basic workings of a computer will help a TON too, but almost every question on the test had something to do with a topic covered in the flashcards.

So, my fighting words for anyone shaking in their boots about this test are STUDY THE FLASHCARDS until you can recite them like quotes from your favorite movie, and you'll smoke this test.

Thanks for the excellent work, IC people!
