Is a Criminal Justice Minor Possible?

Hey everyone, 

Scratching my head over how minors at UMPI work. I've seen some post talking about getting minors but I'm unsure if it's possible to get a Criminal Justice minor. I'm pursuing a BA's in History and Political Science so a tiny bit of the courses overlap with the Criminal Justice BA. Are there links on the wiki or official UMPI sites that say where you can get a minor, specifically for CJ, for YourPace students? 

Or is this something I need to ask my academic coach about?

If yes you can get a minors in CJ, would anyone know how many credits of CJ courses would count as a minors. And is it possible to get more than one minor?

In short, you can add as many minors as you want... Yes to all the q's, it's pretty much the same answer I gave you for adding an extra class in your previous thread here, just change the word class with minor! Link: https://www.degreeforum.net/mybb/Thread-...#pid412557

Someone on DF did a pre-law minor, which is very similar to the criminal justice minor. You can also do both!

Minor requirements:

• Each minor course has to be offered by UMPI YourPace or you need to transfer it in.
  
• Each minor requires 9 unique credits of the required credits that can't overlap another minor.
  
• All other credits can overlap each other
  

I haven't heard of anybody saying there is a residency requirement for each minor??

The BLS has a residency requirement for the 1st minor. You have to complete at least 9 of the 18 credits at UMPI. This does not apply to the BABA or BA programs or the 2nd or 3rd minors. You're capped at 3 minors.
