The New Management Information Systems
#1
Has anybody taken the new version? If so how hard was it, and how well did IC prepare you for it? What other sources besides IC did you use, if any? I was going to use this as one of my UL's, but since it has changed I am not too sure about it.

Thanks.

I took the revised version of MIS on 9/2. I found instantcert to be enough. All the feedback from the previous MIS test is still relevant to the revised version.

Took the new version for MIS last week 9/8 and passed with a 465. I used instacert for about a week plus skimmed a MIS book I had already purchased for a class at TESC but didn't take.

The instacert site suggest to look at the CLEP for Informations Systems and Computer Apps (ISCA) to help on the MIS exam. Since I'm somewhat of a geek I took the ISCA Clep with NO studying and passed easily.

Instacert must have used the same MIS book that I had because a lot of the flashcard answers were word-for-word with my book.

So, in my opinion if you have general computer knowledge and use instacert to focus on the MIS issues you can pass the new exam.
